Crystal didn’t have to wait long for a record deal. The day after the American Idol Finals she has signed a recording contract with 19 Recordings Limited and Jive Records, according to Billboard.
Nothing is set on an album release, but in years past it has been a fourth quarter release, most likely November.

You’ll just have to hurry with your almum Crystal. I just have to have it!! Voted last time 25 times but you are still #1 idol to me. The reason I asked to hurry is because I will be 83 in Oct. and I’m not leaving because I’m to anxious to hear you album and other singles you may have recorded. At my age you can guess I’m an old Patsy Kline lover and all the other stars in the 40’s plus.I know you’ll be in Florida where I live but I don’t drive at night and some of my friends are older the me so will have to forget about it, sad to say.My prayers are with you dear Crystal for a everlasting,wonderful, star bright future!
